Unfortunately, some technology expenses are unavoidable.
But if you have even $30-$100 available, that can go a long way toward paying for software licenses, hosting, domains, plugins, etc - which might be necessary to get your project up and running.
If your budget is $0, that is OK, too, but just let us know so we can help you find a solution.
GiveCamp is organized this way to ensure that we provide a great experience for both your organization and our amazing volunteers.
We've found that these minimum participation requirements give your project team the best foundation for success during the event.
Your volunteers will generally NOT be available to help you after the event, so you and your volunteer project manager need to make the most of the time available before and during the event.
**The person who attends will be a critical part of your event team. This person needs to be authorized to make "big decisions" on-the-fly for your organization in regard to your new website/technology project. Ideally they also need to be able to purchase any needed licenses, domains, etc required to complete your project.
NOTE: The event starts on Friday at 6pm and ends Sunday at 6pm. On Friday and Saturday volunteers are encouraged to stay at the event until 11 pm or 12 am, if needed.
